Luke 21:16-19 (Message Bible) "You'll even be turned in by parents, brothers, relatives, and friends. Some of you will be killed. There's no telling who will hate you because of me. Even so, every detail of your body and soul even the hairs of your head!Is in my care; nothing of you will be lost. Staying with it that's what is required. Stay with it to the end. You won't be sorry; you'll be saved.
It took me a long time to learn that being hurt and all of the various ways in which we are hurt is actually pushing us to our destiny. The hurts, the pains, the disappointments, the shame, the embarrassment, the false guilt (condemnation) are the tools that the enemy uses to keep us in bondage, isolated, afraid to come out of our comfort zone BUT GOD uses those elements to push us down on our knees in prayer, down on our knees in humble adoration, crying out to Him, seeking Him, His will, His way, His purpose, His plans, God what do you want me to learn from this disappointment?
